You will already be in a management role within the Freight Forwarding industry familiar with European Export and Import Distribution including warehousing and distribution and knowledge of operating full and Part Loads.

You will have good customer service skills, be able to work well alone and in a team and already have established contacts within the industry with Hauliers and overseas agents and carriers.

They should be confident in currently, (or stepping up to) management of a team with a view to maximise profitability and be able to work well with our sales team to assist in the development and expansion of the department.

The Role

The Nuts and bolts of the position are to take over the Management and daily running of the existing and well established European Export/import Department and to drive the development and profitability of the department assisting in adding new services, overseas partners and clients.The role is very much a "Hands on" position operating & managing the daily tasks associated with running a busy European Freight department.

The position is based in Bradford

Office hours are Monday to Friday 0900 to 1730 Hours.

Holiday entitlement is 22 Days per annum + Bank Holidays.

Starting salary up to £42.5K dependent on experience.
