A brand new role has arisen for a Purchasing Analyst to join a well-established business based in East Birmingham local to Marston Green.
This role is to become a pivotal team player within the purchasing and catergory department and provide support in to the category managers.
This role is a very data driven and analytical role so we need a capable candidate that enjoys this work.
Salary = £19-21,000 per annum
Hours = Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm
Duties include:
• Manage all data requirements within the department (data is used within reports by the category managers)
• Data regarding products for suppliers must be set up and maintained accurately
• Generate and maintain departmental and category specific reports
• Manage data analysis required by category managers
• Research and collate market trends (very varied)
• Support the wider team on projects and tenders
The ideal candidate:
• Be highly analytical and happy with large amounts of data
• Have excellent attention to detail on data processing
• Must use own initiative and be able to prioritise own workload
• Knowledge of SAP would be desirable
• Good level of Microsoft Office
