Job Description:

  • Manage the employees under your control in the procurement department.
  • Direct, coordinate and monitor activities and performance of the procurement team daily.
  • Ensure that agreed work by team members has been completed satisfactorily and follow up on any deficiencies
  • Maintain the excellent and smooth running and management of the procurement department and the staff within.
  • Direct and manage the supplier relationships with all providers of goods and services.
  • To include selection, approval and onboarding of supplier
  • Implementation, monitoring and reporting of KPIs for company’s largest supplier. Working closely and proactively with supplier to ensure their performance is meeting company’s requirements
  • Managing the inventory purchasing and stock levels at all business locations and third-party providers
  • Set up of all company’s bespoke stock lines to be held in stock
  • Ensure invoice matching is completed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure invoice queries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure booking in of purchase orders is completed accurately
  • Ensure stock order entry is completed accurately
  • Target cost reduction of all purchase orders

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • CIPS Level 4 or above
  • Minimum 5 years in senior procurement role
  • Experience of leading and managing a team
  • Advanced knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures
  • Experience with Connectwise and / or Oasis Open would be beneficial

Salary:

£35,000 - £40,000
