Supply Chain & Logistics Consultant Interim 12 months

This is a unique opportunity to join a business that has grown across the last 100 years to become a household name within the beauty/pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Having invested significantly across the past 12 â€" 18 months in the business an opportunity has come up to improve the Supply Chain and Inventory management. The business has a family friendly culture and works hard but supports staff with flexible hours as they understand business is not always 9-5.

The Role:

The position will bring processes together across procurement, supply chain and review inventory within the warehouse to reduce costing and timings. Ensure all mandatory management tasks are reviewed and enhanced where possible delivering against agreed financial budgets. Familiarisation with the business across planning, warehouse operations, logistics and sourcing, meeting with suppliers and inviting 3PL & 4PL tenders.

The Candidate

• Experience within supplier management, tenders and re-tender
• Inventory Management
• Warehouse operations experience
• Understanding of the end-to-end supply chain
• Analytical skills
• Experience with Excel
• Ideally a background in manufacturing but not essential
