Chase and Holland have a great opportunity for an experienced Buyer join a reputable and expanding manufacturing business who are looking to support their growing production demands.

As a family grown business, they value the opportunities they offer and are now in the market to secure an experienced and passionate Buyer who can slot seamlessly into their close-knit expanding team. The role offers a chance to be involved with their life changing production line and enable the business to continue their growth and reputation through strong organisation and key work flow maintenance.     

Your Key responsibilities:

• Maintain stock integrity to ensure production needs are met.
• Reducing stock shortages and inefficient costings.
• Convert sales order for manufactured products into work orders
• Purchase of components across USA & UK
• Ensure purchases are cost effective and meet forecast and demand
• Maintain Supplier visit schedules, including quality and production aspects.
• Ensure outsourced products are produced to the latest design and drawings.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures  

Requirements:
Our client is keen to find someone who has:

• Resolution skills and strong interpersonal skills face to face and digitally
• Strong commercial focus and market knowledge
• Written communication skills which are applicable to commercial transactions
• Excellent knowledge of IT packages and ideally MRP/ERP systems
• Buying / Purchasing experience (2-3 years)
