My client based in Dover is looking for a Transport Manager/ Coordinator to join their team!
The role will include:
- Provide quotations to new customers
- Be responsible for coordination daily planning of vehicle (10-15)
- Liaising with existing and new customers to prepare bookings
- Organise and schedule routes for drivers
- Monitor and plan vehicle maintenance when required
- Understake and maintain health and safety records
Ideal candidate:
- Have previous experience working within transport industry
- Work well in a high pressured busy office
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a professional telephone manner
- A previous role of generating new business opportunities and dealing with new enquirers
- Good problem solving skills
- Be logical and able to make decisions quickly
- Have a great knowledge of the transport industry
- Strong organisational skills for planning schedules, journeys
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft
