Established Buyer - Womenswear

A well known established high street retailer is looking for a Established buyer to join their Jersey and Soft separate team. We are looking for someone who is able to work within a fast paced environment who is able to help grow the business even more. You will be : - Responsible for the fashion cycle of each product line, from the initial range planning, to the final product before going into stores. - Liaising with the wider department; Merchandisers, Garment Techs, Marketing, PR team. - Responsible for mentoring junior team; BAA's & Assistant buyers. - Work towards achieving sales and margin targets - Deliver KPIs and objectives - Manage critical path - Communicating effectively with suppliers, negotiating prices, ensuring products are right quality and products are delivering in a timely manner. You will need to: - Have previous experience working in a fast fashion business where trend is essential - Previous buying experience - Be commercial to the customer as well as being trendy. - Strong sourcing and negotiation skills This is a great opportunity for a buyer to take on new challenges and work with a new fantastic team in central London locating near the shopping capital Oxford circus/ Tottenham court road area.
