We are looking for Senior Export Coordinator on behalf of one of our engineering clients based in West Yorkshire. They are one of the only engineering companies in the UK who design, develop and manufactures high-performance metal forming and finishing machinery for the FMCG industry.
As a Senior Export Coordinator, you would be responsible for:
- Liaising with Internal and External customers to ensure shipments are processed and delivered on time
- Creating necessary documentation for shipments
- Communicating with different departments
- Complying with Customs formalities
- Using courier’s software to prepare Air Waybills
- Problem Solving
- Customer Complaints
- Shipments stuck in Customs
- Missing Parts
- Missing Documentation
- Liaising with freight forwarders to arrange collections
- Creating loading plans for CMB Machinery
- Preparing Load and Packing lists for Machinery
- Ensuring all Trailers are loaded correctly and to Load Plan
- Liaising with External Packers to Ensure all Equipment is delivered to them and packed on time and to Customers’ requirements
- Providing Packing Department with Packing Schedule for the Day
- Providing Cargo Security Certificates for SPX shipments
- Using JDE system to find order information
- Using the ARAS system to create contract paperwork (despatch notes / packing lists) and pass through to Accounts
- Carrying out risk assessments within the department
- Retrieve quotes for shipping goods Worldwide
- Highlighting improvement opportunities within the department
You will have
- Strong Knowledge of Shipment Processing
- Strong working knowledge of Incoterms
- Strong working knowledge of export document requirements for specific countries e.g. EU and non EU Shipments
- Knowledge of Customs Procedures and Formalities
- Experience within an Exporting role
- Ideally from a manufacturing or engineering environment.
