Buyer - Womenswear

A well known high street brand is seeking a Buyer to take on the Jersey & Soft Separates department. This is a great rare opportunity to work for a established well known brand. Some of your day to day activities includes: - Range Building taking in account of previous sales, current trends and customers demands. - Responsible for the BAA's & Assistant buyers on the team, mentoring and directing. - Analysing sales performance data in order to identify trends; - Liaising with suppliers on a daily basis negotiating prices, designs, and shipment dates - Liaising with Merchandisers on the team to discuss budgets, stocks and margins - Working with Garment Technologist to achieve quality standard products - Collaborating with Marketing department to push products that needs sales - Weekly trade meetings, Presenting best and worst products In order to be successful, you must: - Is already a Buyer or a Junior Buyer - Proven track record of achieving results with the ability to perform to demanding deadlines. - Be able to manage a team - Have strong communication skills - Be able to work in a fast pace environment - Knowledge of Womenswear/jersey and soft separates As this is a highly competitive role, only successful candidates will be contacted.
