We are looking for a Prorcurement Manager to be part of a team at an exciting time with the remit of strategically purchasing goods or services for the Adecco Group, meeting stakeholder requirements with the objective of ensuring the Adecco Group purchases quality products and services for competitive prices in a timely fashion. To play an integral role in ensuring the Adecco Group works to budgets and operates profitably.

Responsibilities:


* Working with stakeholders to devise procurement and sourcing strategies for specific project requirements within the Soft, Corporate and Professional Services categories
* Identifying profitable goods and services solutions by reviewing existing and new suppliers and initiating or further developing procurement partnerships. This includes researching new products and services which will meet business goals
* Negotiating with external suppliers to secure advantageous terms but by applying robust contractual terms
* Conducting end to end procurement exercises including supporting stakeholders on the development of business cases and associated risk plans, preparing evaluation criteria and supplier selection
* Identifying and securing appropriate savings for the business without compromising quality, through procurement and negotiation techniques
* Support the Property and Procurement team in the compliance of agreed business policies and processes
* Performance managing key suppliers to ensure consistency in quality and identifying improvements to services
* Support the team in ensuring compliance with Procurement Policy and Process across the Adecco Group


Requirements


* Minimum 5 years experience of working as part of a Procurement function in the capacity of Procurement Manager, Senior Buyer (or similar)
* Some public sector experience would be advantageous
* Able to demonstrate the ability to carry out complex end to end procurement processes using specified evaluation criteria across a range of categories and spend
* Experience of preparing and understanding contract terms and dealing with contractual escalations
* CIPS qualified or working towards level
* Experience of having used e-tendering, P2P, financial software systems
* Highly articulate when communicating at all levels/grades
* Experience of negotiation techniques with successful outcomes
* A people person who is good at networking
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Good data and financial analysis skills
* An understanding of Supply Chain Management procedures

This role will be primarily based in Birmingham but with 1 day per week in London.
