Just Recruitment are delighted to be assisting a well-regarded organisation on the outskirts of Colchester with the appointment of a Logistics Planner.
Working across the business - you will be instrumental in the coordination of a variety of departments to plan, organise and schedule the work load.
You will be able to 'Think outside the box' when it comes to problem solving and overcoming objections - you must be able to communicate across a diverse team and deliver feedback to stakeholders.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Managing and planning the workload across the team - coordinating the production team, site team and ensuring all requirements are on site as required.
Planning routes to ensure that they are viable for the business both commercially and from a time management point of view - a good geographical knowledge of the UK is required.
You will be able to communicate across the business - including to the senior team.
Able to understand lead times from production to site and able to book specialist equipment as required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Excellent communication skills
Highly organised
Good working knowledge of the UK
Ability to manage stakeholders.
