Our client a busy freight forwarder is looking for an Ocean Freight Export Operator to join their team in Liverpool.

Key Activities:

Operational Tasks:

  • Receive bookings from client.
  • Deliver service form collection to arrival/delivery ensure all tasks are completed ie.
  • Collection, VGM, customs clearance.
  • Develop relationships with carrier to ensure they understand our needs and deliver the service we require to us.
  • Make booking with shipping line, ensure shipments are booked as per tender.
  • Keep client up to date with industry news and changes.
  • Create good working relationship with client and ensure all their booking needs are met.
  • Ensure bookings are updated and customer is kept aware of any changes.
  • Ensure job costing is correct and completed on time.

Will require excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Be motivated to ensure client gets best possible service we can provide. Good time Management skills. Ability to work to client’s requests and fulfil expectations.

3 years minimum Export Operations experience required.
