Customer Logistics Administrator

To provide the highest level of client care by the use of site liaison and providing accurate data for the shipment and delivery of product.

• To liaise with the customers sites across the UK to obtain accurate site information for smooth delivery of product
• To maintain an up to date database of site contacts, vehicle access and egress requirements, suitable vehicle types that can gain access to sites
• To provide accurate detail to the customer of shipment and delivery status
• To undertake tasks relating to 3rd party logistics and warehousing including booking of despatches and any returns
• To use effective planning to maintain internal and external carrier schedules and on-going updates
• To communicate effectively to all relevant parties to provide accurate and timely information
• To negotiate terms with providers and support the sales team in factoring in costs
• To work in partnership with the Transport Manager and his team
• To maintain and build excellent relationships with both internal and external customers

Skills required

• Excellent UK Geographical knowledge
• Previous experience in a customer service environment
• Previous experience in a logistics environment
• Previous administration experience
