Retail Supply Chain Analyst

Job Role:

This role will oversee the development of the UK Retailer Supply Chain Support Programme. You will utilise Supply Chain analytical tools to enhance visibility of retailer demand and to share data with both the Commercial Sales Dept and retail partners. You will need to monitor the quality and accuracy of data used to drive the analytical tools. It is important you have Advanced Excel skills.

Duties:

  • Analytic Tool - To develop and roll out an analytic tool with our clients' major retailers/commercial teams.
  • To develop a standardised reporting structure to assist in improving stock availability, forecast and overall Customer Order Management
  • Establish ways of evidencing where the analytic tool has influenced in a positive way i.e. improved planned intake / stock levels and aligning the Retailers/Sales team's expectations.
  • Monthly meetings with our clients key Retailers Supply Chain teams to build relationships and help influence a more improved and aligned planned intake / stock available to sell.
  • To support the UK Sales Director with the allocation of stock to customers when the UK orderbook exceeds stock availability.
  • To be an integral part in the development of the Customer Order Management process and provide training to the coordinators in all technical aspects to achieve this.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Excellent Analytical skills
  • Good communication / Training skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and all-round IT Technical knowledge
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships - internally & externally
  • Driving Licence and use of own car for customer visits if necessary
  • Flexibility with working out of hours as overnight and additional working hours maybe required
  • SAP knowledge - desirable
  • Presenting Skills
