A Procurement Officer vacancy paying Circa £28,000 per year based in the Liverpool area

You will be working for a leading 3rd sector organisation who are growing their procurement team and consistently growing in multiple markets.

Your new role

As Procurement Officer you will work closely with Procurement Manger coordinating both OJEU and non-OJEU compliance. You will lead on both OJEU and non-OJEU tenders and be responsible for managing and bench marking supplier KPI's. You will carry out regular analysis on spend reports and assist in the delivery of group frameworks for the company. You will also contribute to the value for money objectives set for the group along with managing contracts.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be CIPS qualified (level 4 or above) and have proven experience of working within a public sector procurement team. You will have proven knowledge of OJEU guidelines along with experience of working with suppliers and external stakeholders. You will also be an analytical individual with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
