Operations Manager - Software Startup

An Operations manager with exposure to start up environments is sought by an exciting Software house operating within the Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence space. With sizable backing from Venture capitalists, my client has quickly carved out a niche for themselves in the fast-paced market place that is AI. The company is scaling quickly, Hurren & Hope have already played a part in pulling together a team of highly professional individuals bringing experience from some of the leading names in the AI field. We now need the assistance of a competent Operations Manager with exposure to early-stage startup organisations, you will be assisting the Company owner and CTO to put in place processes for the back office functions of the business to include Accounts, Diary management, sales administration, Data Compliance and to be frank anything that falls between! As the backbone for the business, you will be relied upon to help the company scale their offering as they go to market. Excellent communication both verbally and in writing is essential as is confidence with technical solutions, (Accounts software, Office365, Powerpoint etc.)

The nature of all startups is fast-paced, and groundbreaking shortlisted applicants will clearly display experience within fast-paced changeable startup and/or SME environments. You will be able to deliver solutions that take in to account the initial pressures to deliver to a growing audience while also taking in to account future scalability of the company. Working hand in hand with the company owners you will be tasked with building an internal structure that is scalable, sustainable and above all creates an environment where the team wants to come to work each day and all involved benefit from the companies successes.

This is not a corporate 9-5 you can expect to be working in a fast-paced changeable environment the right person for the role will thrive in a changing environment, see the challenge as a reason to get up in the morning and your creative mindset will mean you are the individual at the front offering solutions to problems no one saw coming. Your role will not be a cookie cutter position with a clearly defined remit, there are core deliverables and your successes will be celebrated but this is not a caretaker role, you will be a pioneer not only within the company but also within the AI market place as the companies endeavor is yet to be matched by any competitor.
