Logistics Coordinator

If you are an experienced Logistics Coordinator looking to join a well-established company, we have the perfect role for you!

Our client, within the Manufacturing industry are now seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Factory Manager, the key purpose of this role will be to manage and control all tasks and operations, and ensuring the smooth running of the logistics department, including Health & Safety standards and compliance.

Roles and responsibilities;

? To optimise and develop logistic routes, and manage supplier relationships

? Maintaining accurate information and updating the in-house system

? Attending meetings, delivering updates with regards to KPIS, and actioning requirements

? Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers

? To source and manage new logistic suppliers

? Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Production Manager to ensure customer orders are maintained and met

? Filing invoices, delivery notes and dispatch notes

? Being the first point of contact for clients

? Working with the Business Development team to maximise business and ensure a smooth process getting new clients on board

The ideal candidate will;

? Have previous experience within a similar role

? FLT, Reach & Counterbalance preferable

? Be an excellent all-round communicator

? Be proficient in using all Microsoft Packages, particularly Excel

? Be highly organised and an effective problem solver

? Be literate and have great attention to detail
