Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Director of Operations for a medium practice within Warrington. This role is a fantastic opportunity for the successful individual to actively manage and direct the wider business and influence a wider group. You will work directly with the Chief Operating Officer to drive business performance alongside the Director of Operations for one of the other companies within the group.

You will assist the wider operations team with ensuring all financial budget requirements are exceeded and to implement a fantastic working and performance orientated culture. You will look to develop teams and individuals and implement improvements across revenues, systems, and processes. You will work closely with individuals to ensure that everyone has the support to develop both on a personal and professional level.

Key responsibilities:

* Strategic Management: Managing and developing the control of your business unit including the P&L, forecasting and budgets. Working with the wider senior management team you will assist in setting goals for the business based on financial information. You will provide strategic direction and translate high level aims into realistic, measurable achievements for individuals.

* Process Ownership: Responsible for delivering the business aims within a KPI environment and evaluating the quality of the work produced by more junior members of the team. This will ensure a high level of customer service and enable you to understand any gaps within the process. In turn, you will have the opportunity to implement new procedures and policies which will benefit the whole group.

* People Management: Management of senior accountants, team leaders and managers and wider management of the group. Looking to implement a culture of excellence and best practice you will provide guidance and advice. As the business grows, you will be involved in recruitment, development, allocation of work and management advice.

The person:

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) with extensive operational exposure. You will ideally have experience working a senior level within a practice firm, with an understanding of employee engagement and process improvement. This role would suit someone who is ambitious and looking to join a business where they can develop.

In return, you will receive a strong base salary as well as up to £20K of bonus based on the practice's achievement and employee satisfaction.
