The Role:
Account Manager – Supply Chain Solutions Healthcare Sector
- Home/Field based (North West) account management position
- The Account Manager is involved with improving savings within healthcare procurement
- Managing 6-8 Key NHS Trusts, taking overall ownership of circa £40m worth of business
- Liaising with Procurement, Category Buyers and Finance departments within the NHS
- Market analysis, forging clinical relationships and keeping abreast medical technology development
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
The Ideal Person:
Account Manager – Supply Chain Solutions Healthcare Sector
- Must be a strong communicator who can modify their approach to deal with Procurement/clinicians/finance people.
- Could come from Sales, Operations or Customer Relationship Management Background
- Knowledge of NHS procurement processes would be an advantage
- Able to build and develop relationships with customers
- Proficient with data and IT (CRM, Spreadsheets etc.)
- Capable of managing projects and working autonomously
- Comfortable with high level of travel, dynamic working environment dealing with multiple projects at any one time.
