Logistics Operator

The Job

This job is based within one of my client's warehouses where you will be expected to take the responsibility for the completion of the day-to-day Avantor aligned warehouse activities including receipt, issue and monitoring of small parcels, production spares and consumables to support BFS, PFS & Warehouse Operations objectives and business goals.

Some of the job roles would consist of:

• To unload vehicles via FLT, receive, check, record and store incoming goods including engineering spares, small parcels and consumables ensuring accurate placement of stock OTIF, RFT.
• To ensure that critical components are quality inspected upon arrival and accompanied by the appropriate documentation as per procedure.
• To process purchase requisitions/orders using SAP and liaise with vendors to track outstanding orders to meet agreed delivery schedules.

This is a part-time role for 20 hours a week. The hours would be either 8am-12am or 11am-3pm.

• Proven excellent customer service focus and ability to work collaboratively.
• Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
• Able to collaborate with other teams and suppliers and deliver results.
• Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, clear attention to detail.
• Proficient in various IT systems particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
• SAP experience (Desirable).
• FLT Licence (Desirable).
• VNA Licence (Desirable).
• ADR Licence (Desirable).
