Supply Chain Planner

I am currently recruiting for  a company who is part of a manufacturing group who make in excess of $5 billion yearly. They design and manufacturer for the military, industrial and aerospace industries in connectors and interconnects and electronic packaging.

 

The role is to assess the supply chain requirement of all commercial route plans to ensure that the mist suitable, qualified, vendors are identified, prepared In readiness to meet planned manufacturing dates and contractually committed on the most advantageous commercial terms possible, aligned to the terms all agreed with the customers.

The overriding aim of the role is to ensure that the supply chain requirements for all new  products can be enacted within the supply Chain department on a transactional basis only at the point of schedules production

To assess suitable vendors for all material requirements on all new products which are subject to a Commercial Route Plan. This may be done in conjunction with the Supply Chain dept or independently to assess new vendors, where required.

The job holder shall ensure that the agreed commercial terms with vendors are aligned to the proposed sales terms
