To work within the London branch of this Global Private Banking Group, you will ensure that all the functions and the team members perform their duties or you initiate these functions which include: Cash Management, Nostro & Reserve account maintenance - appropriately and timely.
Process and settle all aspect of proprietary trading undertaken by London Treasury (Current products: FX, FXO, YES Certs, MM, Bonds and IRS). Including monitoring of confirmation matching platforms and CLS and perform daily netting, all the above being risk conscious and ensuring the department operate within our mandated duties. ISDA Collateral Agreements (CSA) - ensure margin payments and receipts are executed in a timely manner in line with the documentation and instructions from Middle-office.

Required knowledge, skills and experience:
 6 years’ experience in Banking operations,to include payments and treasury .
 Demonstrated ability to assess key risks / provide coherent reports
 Proven Management/ supervisory skills
 Good communicator - oral and written, includes report writing.
 Good system skills and application to the business
 Experience with use of Windows based applications and banking applications

Required qualifications:
 A level educated
 (BA) Honours degree
 Appropriate professional/regulatory qualification(s)

EMIR/MIFID Repository reporting using Unavista (Trade echo) in accordance with regulatory guidelines and the banks procedures.
Close of Business tasks.
Monitoring and resolution of Nostro outstanding items,
Monthly Treasury statistics, KRI reporting, Bond portfolio maintenance and IRS event scheduling and reconciliations to Globus.
Mandate checking and authorisation, formatting and routing of all payments on behalf of the Bank and its clients, and as Correspondent Bank for our subsidiary in Guernsey and our Jersey Branch, for London clients using "memos" sent to efgl payments processing e-mail box (or placed in NCM) or duly authorised instructions, all payments are input (work-flow in place) to Globus to be interfaced and transmitted to our Nostro Correspondents via SWIFT. Channel Island payments are routed and interfaced between Swift & Globus. Ensure all payments are executed timely in accordance with operating procedures and published cut-offs. Monitor timely processing from the front-office ensuring breaches and return of funds are logged in accordance with our reporting obligations.
Incoming Payments; monitoring/ supervision of, including checking of authenticated pre-advices for third party payments.
Investigations; any queries brought to our attention or otherwise discovered must be investigated and followed until completed. Keeping involved parties appraised with the status of the investigation. Line manager will review outstanding and closed items on a weekly basis also ensuring that all required items have been logged in accordance with our operating procedures.
