The role of an associate buyer is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who is looking to forge a career in procurement. The role of the assiociate buyer will be to support Commodity Buyers in implementation of Continuous Improvement activities delivering cost, quality and delivery improvements.
Location - Fareham
Salary - £25 - 31k with benefits
The role and responsibilty of the buyer will be -
To liaise as necessary with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply as directed by Commodity Buyer
To maintain the ERP system, ensuring MRP purchasing-related data is accurate.
To progress suppliers as required by MRP demand date.
To maintain purchase order status (by amendments).
To attend meetings as required
The ideal candiate for the buyer role will have -
1 - 2 years experience in a purchasing or commercial role or relevant degree
