Role: Energy Supplier Manager (Channel / Partner)

Location: City of London

Salary: £40-50k DOE

Role Purpose:

Have you delivered channel or partner relationships in retail energy space? We are looking for an Energy Supplier Manager to develop relationships with partner organisations to deliver annual growth objectives for the benefit of both companies. The Energy Supplier Manager will fully understand the retail energy industry, your partner businesses and customers so that you can spot opportunities to over perform against your target. Job Responsibilities:

  • Formulation, execution, evolution and ownership of the supplier strategy.
  • Develop and deliver supplier strategic plan with key internal stakeholders.
  • Agree a comprehensive plan to deliver supplier growth targets by customer segment.
  • Ensure a well-planned, proactive contact strategy with the supplier portfolio
  • Identify opportunities to maximise revenue both for the business and partner businesses.
  • Represent the business at relevant industry and networking events.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and optimal cash flow management.
  • Manage monthly dashboard of Supplier performance.
  • Simplify the process of contracting with new partners whilst ensuring max commercial gain
  • Ongoing Portfolio Review and Delivery of New Supplier Partnerships
  • Ensure operational optimisation and service / product innovation.

Experience Required:

  • Experience of the retail energy market (ideally B2B)
  • Strong interpersonal skills including communicating, negotiation and influencing
  • Experience of delivering results through channel partners
  • Optimise commercial relationships and schemes that deliver value to both parties
  • Ability to paint a compelling vision of the future, with concrete strategies to deliver
  • Ability to enrol senior stakeholders and matrix organisation to a vision, strategy and plan
  • Ability to deliver with excellence and inspire those around you to do the same
  • Confidence and gravitas to lead events and present to large groups of people
  • Able to deliver targets and objectives in a challenging, fast-changing environment
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, and in-job experience in relevant functions
