Production Logistics Manager

Are you a Warehouse Manager with experience of working in a production/ manufacturing environment? We are recruiting for a Production Logistics Manager to join a growing organisation based in Newcastle under Lyme. Salary £30-40k based on experience, plus benefits working Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm.

As Production Logistics Manager you will be managing a small warehouse team of 3 staff and production team of 8 staff. You will be responsible for planning and controlling the movement of products from goods in through to despatch through effective prioritising of workloads and management of resources.

Performance management of the team is an important part of the role, ensuring KPIs are communicated and monitored, implement necessary training for staff and provide feedback to the team reviewing progress.

Management reporting is also a key area, providing key performance management data, managing and tracking stock movements providing an accurate audit trail and lessening the risk of security breaches. It will be your job to space and processes are managed effectively reducing bottlenecks and downtime.

It is essential you have worked in a warehouse management role for at least 3 years, with the ability to demonstrate excellent people and process management skills. You must have proven success in delivering efficiencies within a warehousing/ production environment. Good IT skills are expected to be able to produce management information required.
