RM Results have an exciting opportunity for a Commerical Contract Manager. The role will be based near Abingdon OX14 4SB. Clients include well-known awarding organisations which offer accreditations in professions such as accountancy; and major exam boards, such as those which deliver A-Levels or GCSEs. Our flagship product is RM Assessor3, a system which supports the scanning and digital distribution of completed exam papers to be marked remotely on computer. RM Assessor is the market leader in this space and is used in over 100 countries worldwide to mark over 160 million exam pages per year. We are also the leading provider of data services to the UK education sector: we manage the influential School Performance Tables on behalf of the Department for Education.

RM Results is a division of RM Education Ltd, the leading supplier of ICT, services and support to UK education for over forty years.

The Commercial Management team sits within the Sales, Marketing and Commercial team and is responsible for the provision of commercial support, advice, steering and guidance across the division dealing with all contractual matters from simple variations through to the formation of multi-million pound agreements and the provision of commercial support to bidding activities within the Sales & Marketing team.

The position requires the applicant to have:

  • the ability to interpret, draft and negotiate legal and contractual documents;
  • knowledge and understanding of the bidding process;
  • the ability to develop commercial models;

  • the ability to own and manage relationships with senior staff and senior contacts outside of RM;
