Your Key Responsibilities as the Supply Chain Administrator will be

  • Ensuring all the logistics are managed, shipped and delivered in good condition to all customers OTIF, with all relevant paperwork completed
  • Liaise with customers on a daily basis , updating on delivery, taking orders, inform on products and to take orders
  • Communicating daily of shipments throughout the Supply Chain journey informing the relevant members of staff and customers of any arising problems or problems that may cause a delay in dispatch or delivery
  • Providing support to both the Customer Service & Sales Support team to ensure they receive an incredible level of customer service internally
  • Checking that goods are ordered in good time and the re-order levels are correct
  • Communicating daily with outsourced 3PL partners, ensuring carriers are managed so deliveries are delivered OTIF
  • Help support the continued focus of reducing unnecessary costs across the supply chain, warehouse and freight
  • Visiting Suppliers and reviewing service, providing advice and putting in plans of action to meet and exceed targets.
  • Negotiating with suppliers on pricing and terms

Skills you will have to be successful in your new role

  • Working experience within a Supply Chain and Logistics role utilising an ERP system
  • Purchasing training/qualifications - CIPS (advantageous not essential)
  • Knowledge of hazardous goods and CHIP
  • Current UK driving license
  • Strong communication skills are essential in both Written and Verbal
  • Well organised and methodical, working to a high level of detail
  • Accomplished MS Office systems knowledge, especially in MS Excel
  • Must demonstrate cooperative, positive 'can do' attitude with strong work ethic and ability to work to deadlines
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
