SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Head of Supply Chain Operations Manager for a leading, rapidly growing Industrial Distribution / MRO business based in Birmingham.
Role & Responsibilities:
Ability to demonstrate a complete understanding of end to end Supply Chain Operation
Using this understanding to generate new ideas and strategic vision.
Analysing and controlling all costs and aspects of inventory to minimise stock holding
Provide leadership, support and direction to direct reports.
Experience Required:
Undergraduate degree and professional qualification post-graduate degree/MBA preferred.
At least 10 years extensive and demonstrable success operating at a Supply Chain Leadership level at a regional or global level
Leading a Supply Chain business transformation programme.
A self-starter who enjoys leading and participating within project teams but has the ability to work independently with a minimum level of supervision.
Knowledge or practical experience of Lean Supply Chain practices or Continuous Improvement/Six Sigma experience (preferred)
