Global Financial and Legal Services Firm are looking for a Head of Procurement, specialised within HR Benefits & Rewards, to maximize the effectiveness of the HR Benefits & Rewards strategy and continuously improving the welfare of staff. With the organization being renowned for being one of the best global employers, they want someone who can consistently improve the HR Benefits & Rewards Procurement strategy and staff wellbeing.

Managing a team of 4, you will have a $600m spend in managing all the Benefits & Rewards Procurement Plans across North America and will play a massive part in planning the sourcing strategy around Health Schemes, Life Insurance, Dental and Vision, Pension Plans, Fleet and Wellness Programs. With the heavy influence on Executive Stakeholders, you will be meeting them regularly across the North East US region to discuss the improvement and progress of the Procurement strategies.

As a Head of Procurement within HR Benefits & Rewards, you will be:

  • Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, and communicating you're the Procurement strategy and progress through regular meetings
  • Completing local and regional sourcing deals, and collaborating with local stakeholders in planning Procurement projects
  • Leading complex negotiations and RFP's with the aim of improving the sourcing strategies to reach cost reduction targets
  • Managing all people related activities such as performance, compensation and learning, for respective staff
  • Building strong relationships with existing and new vendors, and minimizing contractual risk with these vendors



To be a Head of Procurement within HR Benefits & Rewards, you must have:

  • A strong background with HR Services Procurement Management, particularly within areas such as Benefits, Pension Schemes, Healthcare Plans and Insurance
  • Experience working in a global and complex organisation
  • Strong stakeholder management, with the global mindset to influence these leaders
  • Deep data analysis and presentation skills, through Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • The ability to travel occasionally throughout the North-East region of the US for stakeholder meetings and project implementation
  • A Bachelors' degree within Human Resources, Supply Chain Management or any other relevant discipline
