The Position:

The ORM will ensure operational compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements and the requirements of individual clients within a debt recovery environment.

This means compliance with FCA, SRA, CSA, Ofcom and GDPR requirements as well as anti-money laundering legislation.

You will highlight areas of high risk and ensure that all relevant compliance reports are delivered on time including information required by the FCA.

You will ensure that incidents are properly investigated and that a proper record is noted in the compliance, operational and IT reports and meetings at the same time analysing the root causes and identifying and implementing the required improvements.

You will be responsible for managing complaints and reviewing procedures to avoid reoccurrence, responding to all requests for information under the Data Protection Act and managing the quality assurance process.

You will ensure regular engagement with firm’s compliance team, IT department and finance functions and attend industry conferences or seminars that specialise in compliance.

The Person:

You must have the necessary experience to carry out the role specifically in terms of having worked within the relevant regulatory framework.

You will have excellent communication skills and be a team player with the ability to work closely and harmoniously with colleagues and stakeholders.

The salary is up to £ 30,000 per annum and there is an excellent range of company benefits.
