An excellent opportunity has arisen for a modern and market leading commercial organisation based at their offices in Brentwood. This is a newly created role, to manage, improve and take accountability for all aspects of HR Operations and transactional HR activities.

Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Leading all aspects of HR Operations
• Managing a small team
• Creating a culture of continuous improvement
• Introducing new processes and procedures to implement best practice across the organisation
• Streamlining processes to avoid duplication and improve outputs
• Take the lead on managing employee relations case work
• Updating and improving HR policies
• Responsibility for ensuring HR Systems are developed and utilised to meet the evolving needs of the business.
• Acting as the subject matter expert for HR systems
• Leading on and participating in many key HR projects

The person

• Strong experience of leading an HR Operations function in a commercial business
• A Passion for HR Systems, processes and policies
• Proven experience of leading a team
• Strong generalist HR knowledge including current knowledge of UK employment law
