The main purpose of this role is for the right candidate to enjoy working as part of a team and contribute positively to the team dynamics, performance and productivity when providing flexibility and the willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.

As a Supply Chain Officer, you will allow the setting up of suppliers and deal with relationship management, ensuring it's strengthened and ensuring there is continued compliance and risks are eliminated.

The main objective is to implement a proactive and strategic approach to supplier management within relation to the forthcoming legislation changes in relation to VAT and how that's classified and paid via their suppliers and contractors.

Day to day duties for this role include:

Collating data and analyse supplier performance and each key trend.

Identifying, implementing and managing supplier relationships and setups as well as coordinating the supply chain effectively.

Carrying out regular supplier audits.

Carrying out compliance management across all approved suppliers that would include GDPR and Corporate Criminal Offence.

In order to apply for this role, you must have the following skills and experience:

Previous experience working in a Procurement or Supply Chain Management role.

Experience of managing and coordinating the supply chain effectively to ensure risk is minimal.

Experienced in compliance management within GDPR and Corporate Criminal Offence.

Experienced in the setting up of suppliers and relationship management alongside managing and evaluating credit reports.

It's desirable to also hold a relevant degree in either business management, logistics or supply chain.
