Procurement Administrator - 6 month FTC

THE COMPANY:
A well established, global insurance firm looking to grow their company.

THE ROLE:

Duties and accountabilities
• Accurately process invoices in the accounts payable system to enable reporting and control for UK and overseas offices
• Execute BACS, Overseas payments and cheque runs, including insurance cheque runs
• Respond to supplier and employee queries in an efficient and timely manner
• Manage the supplier set up process.
• Maintain the asset databases (software, IT hardware, and subscriptions)
• Vendor Management
• Review ongoing costs and identify process and cost efficiencies.
• Ensure all material license information is up-to-date.
• Manage renewal/procurement/closure process relating to MINT software
• Liaise with pertinent parties to initiate renewal/review/closure process
• Manage renewal/procurement/closure process relating to subscriptions
• Maintain the vendor and contracts database
• Raise/reconcile purchase orders
• Log all purchasing activity on the purchasing database and ensure all the documentation is retained in a central repository
• Maintain supplier database (process to be finalised)
• Business stationery
• Raise purchase orders (where necessary)

THE PERSON:

The successful candidate will have:
• Substantial work experience in an Accounts Payable function;
• Gained administrative experience, ideally in a corporate environment;
• Be educated to A-level standard (or equivalent), possess strong numerical skills
• Be computer literate with working experience on Word (advanced), Excel (intermediate), PowerPoint (intermediate) and Outlook.
• Excellent organisational skills
• High level of integrity and discretion when dealing with confidential or sensitive data
