Procurement - Category Manager - Coalville - Fleet / HGV

My client are a successful, fast growing and highly regarded provider of commercial fleet services.

Your new role

As a Procurement / Category Manager for the fleet of predominantly HGV's you will provide strategy and structure to procurement activities for a range of services, consumables and parts with a key focus on quote to delivery, and optimising cost control.

This is a stand alone role that can develop into a senior leadership role in the organisation working closely with Senior Management to optimise processes.

You will take the lead on supplier relationships, network development and periodic tender programs.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have a commercial approach to procurement with proven budget management. Be a skilled negotiator and communicator at all levels as well as the analytical skills to work with complex management information.

Experience working with a fleet of commercial vehicles is very important to allow you to hit the ground running in this role.
