Role overview

GAMA Healthcare seeks an experienced, supply chain associate to come and join our growing team. The successful candidate will process incoming purchase orders, monitor stock movement and allocations in the warehouse, control international and UK transport and liaise with customers through to delivery, whilst also processing orders in a timely manner.

Key requirements

  • Some previous experience in an administrative role in a logistics and supply chain environment
  • Customer service/ Sales Support
  • Understanding of supply chains, stock management, export/import documentation knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Office Proficient
  • SAP B1 or similar ERP software experience
  • Strong analytical, decision making and interaction skills
  • UK Healthcare experience advantageous.

  • Administrative experience in either supply chain / warehouse administration or a sales order environment (desirable)

  • Excellent English-language written and verbal skill.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales order processing
  • Liaise with sales, distributors and customers
  • Previous experience in Stock management
  • Previous experience in Inventory planning
  • Use WMS to process orders
  • Work with freight forwarders for cost effective global transportation
  • Organise express and container deliveries direct to site.
  • Acknowledge ongoing status of order to the customer.
  • Continuously monitor all stocks allocated to Live Sales Orders for pro-forma and account customers
  • Packaging optimisation
  • Manage costings
  • Billing cross referencing
  • Prepare documents for export
  • Ensuring all invoices are processed in timely manner
