Customer Service/Order Processing, Wheatley - £19,000 - £22,000

Global CTS is working with a world leading company, supporting a vast number of customers all over the globe with offices in the UK, US and Australia. The UK office based in Oxfordshire is now looking to recruit for a Customer Services/Order Processing assistant to join a small logistics team.

Working within a small logistics team, alongside the Finance and HR departments the role involves order processing, dispatch and facilities management. The main purpose of this role is to ensure timely and accurate processing of all sales orders from our customers and to assist with preparation of all dispatch documentation including export documentation, where applicable.

  • Process all sales orders from UK sales team and distributors in a timely and accurate manner with input onto the internal CRM system
  • Liaise with customers and distributors via email/telephone and respond to all support logs received
  • Process accessory sales working directly with customers, ensuring correct prices are quoted and products are dispatched accurately and promptly
  • Prepare dispatch paperwork including export documentation, liaise with courier companies and ensure full compliance with HMRC export requirements
  • Arrange for collection/delivery of trial products
  • Organise and file import & export paperwork in a timely manner, maintaining all necessary records
  • Meet and greeting all visitors to the building and ensuring that they are correctly signed in
  • Covering all courier deliveries to the rear door and ensuring all delivery information is completed and checked as necessary
  • Cover the General enquiries phone line and email box ensuring all contacts are directed appropriately
  • Contribute to the updating of all team procedures
  • Working with the other Logistics assistant and Logistics Coordinator to deal with any Facilities tasks delegated and reacting to requirements as they arise
  • Other ad hoc tasks as delegated


To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills both face to face, by email or by phone. You will be able to work as part of a team, using good communication and problem solving skills whilst using your initiative to manage your workload. Knowledge of Customs Export Requirements is preferable but not essential and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
