Warehouse Manager

The Supply Chain and Logistics Division of SF Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager for our client in Leicester on a permanent basis.

Our client is a leading food manufacturing company who are urgently looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager, ideally who can start immediately or with little notice.

As the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for:
- Managing the safe, efficient and accurate transition of materials to the site in Leicester
- Ensuring goods are stored and delivered to the point of use in the factory and the movement from site to finished goods
- Management of all stock control issues, such as cycle counting
- Overseeing the pick operation and production department ensuring high accuracy
- Implement stock control procedures to ensure high accuracy levels are met
- Managing and training warehouse operatives both new and existing staff (14 members of staff)
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to
- Working closely with all internal departments including Production and Customer Service
- Dealing with any customer queries in connection with shipments
- Budget responsibilities linked to the warehouse

To be successful in the role you will need to be an experienced Warehouse Manager who can hit the ground running, along with the following skills:
- 5 + years management experience within supply chain and logistics
- Proficient in MS Office and the ability to pick up internal systems quickly
- Strong leadership skills and a proven background in developing a high performing team
- Self driven and results oriented with a positive outlook and focus on high quality
- Continuous improvement background
- Attention to detail and highly organised
- Full FLT Licence desirable

Our client needs someone to start ASAP, so no notice or a short notice is preferred.
Salary is £30-35k DOE working Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm Monday- Friday
