Supply Chain Manager

OVERVIEW

City Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager in the West Midlands region on a permanent basis. The salary banding for this role is between £35,000-£60,000 per annum plus excellent working benefits.

YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the full procurement process. You will be supporting the Head of procurement and Supply Chain to meet the needs of the business. As a Supply Chain Manager you will be expected to implement strategies, deliver value for money, ensure contracts agreements are in place with suppliers and stakeholders. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be working as part of a team to ensure needs of contract operations are understood and delivered on time. You will be in charge of selecting suppliers, negotiating, approving orders, expediting and controlling of goods and more.

To be considered for this role you must have the following,

  • Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of delivering procurement savings against targets
  • Understanding of the supply market
  • Flexible to travel
  • Experience in strategic sourcing or category/procurement management roles
  • Ideally degree educated in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business
  • MCIPS or equivalent professional qualification desirable
