A hugely successful family owned business that is passionate about delivering great service and a can-do attitude for their large customer portfolio across the UK and Europe. We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join their busy team based in Haddenham.

The Role

This is a fast-paced role which would suit someone who enjoys working under pressure and to tight deadlines, all whilst ensuring an exceptional level of customer service is delivered at all times! We are looking for someone to manage and coordinate all aspects of the Sales, Customer Service and Export process for a portfolio of customers across the UK and Europe. Main Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and improve Customer support within the Sales team
  • To expedite shipments (including worldwide imports/exports, working with Freight Forwarders to ensure timely collection/delivery)
  • Support European Sales Manager
  • Process orders for products throughout Europe
  • Research areas of the market and provide feedback
  • Liaise with Dealers across Europe on Sales
  • Follow up sales to Dealer and Customers and develop positive, ongoing relationships
  • Coordinate Dealer and Customer Training, ensuring effective liaising with all required departments
  • Coordinate Customer & Visitor trips, including booking of flights, transport and accommodation
  • Supporting Exhibitions where needed
  • Ensure effective communication with all those involved in the supply of a new product (Manufacturer; Engineering; Customer; Customs and Excise) to ensure customer needs are met
  • Create accurate sales quotations using SAP system
  • Manage Aftersales processes including Warranty and Repairs
  • Coordinate Dispatch and Transport for Sales
  • Manage administration related to the sales process

About You

  • Previous experience of similar role required
  • Strong level of commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent organisation skills and able to prioritise day accordingly
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and implement new ideas
  • Experience of import / export (desirable)
