This innovative, forward-thinking technology retailer are looking for an ambitious, talented individual to join a fast growing, fast paced Procurement team. Working on a greenfield site, the successful candidate will have autonomy to develop and implement their own Procurement strategy in line with business goals; but also have the support and training necessary to develop towards their career goals - reporting to the Head of Procurement. Not only is there great exposure to stakeholders and senior management, there are exciting opportunities to be promoted within - working for a company that truly values its Procurement function.


The Procurement role will involve:

  • Develop and implement sub category plans across a number of indirect procurement categories - delivering savings and driving innovation in a collaborative Procurement function. This will include liaising with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Influence and manage interpersonal relationships with stakeholders to deliver effective procurement strategy in line with business goals
  • End to end Procurement across a range of indirects
  • Management of supplier performance - managing supplier relationships, supplier reviews/analysis. This will include ensuring suppliers are meeting their contracts and reviewing contracts that are not meeting their terms
  • Working autonomously as well as within a team environment to meet targets whilst also being an ambassador for the company's key behaviours
  • End to end Procurement- from Procurement profile development, market analysis, strategy, tenders - to negotiations, contracts and managing performance


Key Skills:

  • Experience working within a cross-functional business environment - with a strong ability to engage with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to develop and implement category strategy within indirect procurement
  • Commercial awareness that can help build a competitive advantage globally as well as improve company performance
  • Strong ability to manage suppliers and monitor their performance
  • Degree or MCIPS
