Are you an experienced Import/Export Coordinator, with good knowledge of Import and Export transactions, screening, documentation, classification, logistics, data management and record keeping.

We're currently recruiting for an Import/Export Coordinator for a specialist Global European manufacturer, working at their reputable Banbury premises.

You will be responsible for the end to end Visa application process, handling multiple applications, on a global scale. Supporting the Installation, and Spares and Service teams as necessary.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable Import/Export laws and regulations, both EU and globally
  • Manage all aspects of the export process including customs clearance
  • Ensure incoming and outgoing materials are handled and transported in the correct manner
  • Support the purchasing, installation, service and production teams with Import/Export shipping
  • Responsible for the end-to-end Visa application process, handling multiple applications, on a global scale.
  • Maintain accuracy on applications whilst working collaboratively with the wider team to achieve travel - project managers, installation team, controls team, etc
  • Liaise with internal and external contacts to organise and oversee shipments
  • Allocation and management of engineers and equipment for on site projects

Skills & Experience:

  • Educated to GCSE level / Bachelor's Degree in business, trade, logistics or related business experience
  • Three + years' experience with operational importing and exporting
  • Freight forwarding experience - or previous experience in a role processing visas
  • Knowledge of exporting customs laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of EU Customs and experience of EU Import procedures including knowledge of Import Declaration requirements, HTS Codes and Country of Origin.
  • Experience of Export Declarations in the EU as well as wider concerns relating to Economic Sanctions.
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations associated with imports and exports.
  • Strong understanding of business trading practices and laws.
  • Able to review and audit commercial documentation from a compliance perspective.
  • Ability to effectively communicate internationally.
  • Strong computer skills - MS Office suite inc. Word, Excel.
