Reporting into the Operations Director, this role would suit a Project Manager, Process Improvement Manager or CI Manager with experience of Change and Supply Chain transformation.
THE ROLE:
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify the specific desired outcomes needed for each project.
- Map & review current warehouse processes and agree improvement actions.
- Prepare suitable project plans, milestones and success factors
- Determine the costs and benefits involved in any project work. Ensure that every project has been approved at Executive level and has clear sponsorship.
- Adopt and foster a 'Change Mentality' and inspire other people to take the same approach.
- Use of Prince2 and/or Six Sigma principles to determine the correct course of action.
- Make recommendations to the Board about proposed Supply Chain changes.
- Although based in Chichester, there is an expectation that this person regularly commutes to the West Midlands (2 days a week minimum)
THE PERSON:
- Ideally Prince2 Practitioner qualified or Green Belt Six Sigma qualified.
- Experience of project managing Warehouse and/or Supply Chain Change and CI within a business.
- Able to grasp the wide breadth of the business and get involved with whatever areas need improving.
- eCommerce distribution experience is advantageous.
- Clear and effective communicator.
- Able to liase with Board-level to shop-floor level colleagues.
- Able to think beyond the obvious.
- Open to new ideas and with a viewpoint that "anything is possible".
