Finance Manager - Operations & Commercial

Our client is an established business with a strong trading history and an enviable list of blue chip customers. Following growth in the UK and overseas markets, a newly created position exists to support the Finance Director with a range
of commercial and operational reporting duties. It is expected you will progress into senior management in the short-medium term

This isn't a large glossy corporate business where you will follow a cyclical routine. The business is agile, volumes fluctuate and value add decisions will quickly be felt on the P&L.
The role offers huge scope for the Finance manager to add real value and quickly make an impact.

Once the weekly and monthly reporting is complete, you will have a lot of freedom to ask questions of commercial and operations and add value through your strong analytical and business partnering skills

To be successful it the role you will have previous experience of factory reporting, investigating margins, stock, implementing process improvements, business partnering and budgeting and forecasting
Commercial exposure to post launch analysis and marketing spend would be useful.
You will have the support of 3 assistant management accountants, that you will be expected to manage and mentor.

It may be you work in a large structured manufacturing environment and find it a little rigid, or your looking to step up in size from a small manufacturing business.

SUITABLE APPICANTS:
likely to be CIMA/ ACCA qualified, but consideration will be given to ambitious Part Qualified's that are further forward in their experience levels.
Previous manufacturing (food/ packaging/ machinery) all welcome, as is a questioning nature and the ability to think commercially.

Starting salary of £45,000-£50,000, plus bonus
