Our client, a highly successful international manufacturing group, supply high quality mechanical products to a range of industries including; Automotive, Aerospace, Oil, Gas & Nuclear. Supplying in to equipment manufacturers, and their 'Tier 1' suppliers, they are highly regarded within their own market and sector.

Reporting to the board, you will work closely with other managers, helping to ensure the business 'OTIF' (On-Time-In-Full) targets are achieved, by successfully achieving your team' Supply Chain based KPIs.

You will lead purchasing and supply chain operations for the local manufacturing facility, while liaising with other UK and international group factories. You and your purchasing team will ensure; best value, & best practice, keeping the factory supplied, with the right product at the right price and the right time.

As the ideal candidate, your CV will show successful purchasing management experience, gained within professional manufacturing MRP / ERP based businesses, in precision mechanical environments, where customer demands change rapidly and aspects of your supply mix are often in scarce supply.

The ability to work as a positive member of a senior management team, will also be a key requirement.
