Business Operations Manager, Cambridge, Blue Chip Technology Organisation, Up to £70,000 + Blue Chip benefits.

Overview:

The role of the Business Operations Manager will be to support the CEO of the company's Cambridge site and to work closely with others in the senior leadership team, providing thoughtful business and administrative leadership and support.

The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for arranging and participating in projects and meetings alongside the CEO and leaders, maintaining and reviewing plans and actions on behalf of the leadership team, and liaising with other Centres around the world.

Main Duties:

- Organising and coordinating projects, meetings and events, together with follow-up activities

- Being responsible for arranging appropriate administrative assistance for Senior Managers/Executive, including travel, administrative systems, and liaising with financial and project management.

- Writing publicity, communications and presentation materials on the company mission and research activities

- Assisting the CEO and leadership in effective liaison with relevant external bodies such as the UK government, professional societies.

- Handling external or internal communication on company internal systems

- Supervising administrative assistance as needed to accomplish the above tasks

Ideal Background?

- Education to good degree level (Technology, Science or Mathematics subjects would be preferred).

- Previous experience of working as a Business Manager, Business Operations Manager, Office Manager in a technology led start p company that has seen good growth.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with a calm and professional manner

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills 

- Enthusiasm for the role of high technology in enhancing peoples’lives.

- The ability to prioritise under pressure, be well organised and self-disciplined.

- Proven experience in business management.

- Ability to work independently and take substantial responsibility 

- Discretion, for dealing with confidential information

- Excellent administrative skills and computer literacy

- Flexibility and willingness to work outside of office hours
