Procurement and Funding Officer

Your new company a Not for profit organisation with opportunity within head office function.

Your new role
To undertake procurement activity, achieve innovative and value for money solutions, and manage contracts on behalf of the organisation. To contribute to the development and implementation of the Procurement Strategy. Advising on good practice in the procurement, and contract management of services, projects and goods.
-To effectively manage, administer and develop procurement and funding opportunities and activities
-To act as an integral part of the organisations central team, and as such to contribute to the overall aims of the Trust, working within agreed policies and procedures

What you'll need to succeed
You should have solid experience of managing procurement processes developing policies and procedures, preparing procurement reports.
Experience of identifying external funding opportunities and making successful bidding applications.
You should be an expert negotiator with strong communication skills,
Ability to work and influence at all levels within and outside of the organisation
Excellent problem solving skills
Passion for people and community.
Desirable CIPS qualified or hold relevant Procurement experience

What you'll get in return
Competitive Salary £28000- 30000 and package.
