A great opportunity for a dynamic Supply Chain professional to join a busy manufacturing organisation in Dorset.
Key Responsibilities of the Demand Planner;
Work on rolling demand forecast to create a short, mid and long-term plan.
Analyse trends and customer data to drive improvements in forecast accuracy.
Develop collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.
Track forecast error results versus established targets.
Identify, report and present root cause analysis related to forecast errors below target.
Lead in S&OP process.
Interface with supply planning and sales to manage product allocations.
Convert sales out demand to outbound forecast for 3PL.
Review, release & manage orders with 3PL warehouse & distribution partners for fulfilment.
Liaise closely with customers to notify of exceptions to orders, stock issues and associated recovery plans.
Analyse and populate customer specific scorecards / data required.
Review operational performance relating to customer issues and requirements.
Personal Specification of the Demand Planner;
Degree qualified or equivalent.
Professional qualifications would be an advantage.
Proven Supply Chain & Demand Planning experience.
Knowledge of S&OP process would be preferred.
Experience within a Retail / FMCG environment.
Good working knowledge of SAP.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Highly motivated and enthusiastic 'can do' attitude.
Strong analytical skills.
This role will suit an individual with experience in any of the following positions; Senior Demand Planner, Supply Chain Planner, Forecast Analyst, Supply Planner, Supply Chain Analyst.
