Job Description:

  • As the Operations Management Graduate you will have the opportunity to gain experience across all departments including planning, materials, production, quality and technical
  • You will be involved with material management, planning materials, looking at forecasting, stock and production timelines
  • You will spend time in each individual area gaining a full understanding of the business operations and the manufacturing process
  • As an Operations Management Graduate you will look at manufacturing problems, analyse, looking at trend and investigate, looking at techniques, process improvements, implementing improvement changes
  • You will be involved with costings, efficiencies, wastage, workflow and quality controls using lean manufacturing techniques
  • As an Operations Management Graduate, you will take a very hands-on approach in the day to day responsibilities and leadership of the team, including motivating staff, building solid relationships and dealing with issues
  • As an Operations Management Graduate you will be developed both personally and professionally to become future Senior Managers for a highly successful global business

Candidate Requirements:

  • A recent graduate (open minded on degree and degree grade)
  • Passionate individual
  • Leadership qualities
  • Commercially minded
  • Tenacious and personable individual
  • Ideally own transport however this is not essential
  • Strong communicator at all levels, confident, bubbly individual
  • Confident individual - someone who can deal with various departments with the ability to lead

  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong team player - ideally someone who can demonstrate this e.g. team sports
  • Strong character with the ability to lead/manage a range of personalities

This role would suit people who also have the following experience: a graduate within business, science or engineering.

Hours: Monday - Friday, full time (38.60 Hours a week)

Salary: £16,000 per annum (with regular reviews as you develop)
