Corr Recruitment has an exciting new role for one of our clients based in Calne, SN11. Our client is a highly successful distributor which employs over 950 people and have 16 depots across the UK. They are looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their successful team
Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Main Duties of the Operations Manager role:
- To Coordinate with all departments: Field Sales - Sales- Support -Telesales -Distribution & Warehouse - to ensure that excellent levels of customer service are delivered.
- Understanding all of the issues from the error log & customer satisfaction report ensuring improvements are achieved.
- To deliver first class customer service.
- Sales and commercial awareness.
- Strict control of distribution costs and deliver within budget.
- To coordinate with all departments to improve service log and customer satisfaction ratings.
- Provide leadership to the distribution and warehouse team.
- Development and training of distribution and warehouse team.
- Recruitment of staff.
- Efficient route planning achieved.
- Delegating work to staff and managing their workload and productivity.
- Ensuring we are legally compliant on our O Licence compliance requirements at all times.
- Ensuring that high standards of cleanliness through the warehouse are achieved.
- Ensure required distribution and warehouse procedures and processes are in place and adhered to.
- Integrity of stock.
- Correct stock locations maintained, and regular date checks conducted.
- Coordinate and participate in regular stock takes.
- Stock levels in line with company targets and customer order requirements.
Key Skills / Experience required for the Operations Manager role:
- Experience of working in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Systems: Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and records
- Knowledge of 'Trinity’ system
