Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are working with a highly successful manufacturing company based in Bradford.
My client is a family run business established over 80 years ago, supplying bespoke systems across UK and Europe. They have gone through a major period of growth, expanding their customer portfolio and are seeking a Purchasing Manager to drive change within the supply chain while mentoring a team to increase EBITDA.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a role with responsibility for Purchasing and Inventory across the business.
The successful incumbent will be tasked with achieving competitive costs and developing a robust supply chain, through negotiation and leveraging supplier relationships.
Key objectives will include analyzing the existing contracts and agreements with the view to then implement a working process and structure to ensure key measurements are in place to manage spend, stock availability, supplier performance and lead times efficiently.
The role will suit an ambitious, career driven professional who is looking to take on a new challenge with an innovative, dynamic business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities;
+ Managing spend across direct product and indirect services
+ Negotiating costs and Service level agreements with suppliers
+ Sourcing of new product on an international scale
+ Agreeing lead times with suppliers in line with customer demand
+ Introducing process and procedures to reduce inventory and maintain safety stock levels
+ Influence change and leave methods
+ Analyse spend to identify areas to reduce cost
Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:
+ A minimum of four years' Purchasing / Supply Chain experience
+ Excellent process management and influential skills
+ Ability to communicate at all levels and work cross-functionally with other departments
+ Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
+ Ability to drive change and introduce new processes
£30000 - £35000 + benefits
